Each year the Fricker Cup brings Kappa Sigs together in a great weekend including a golf tournament that would make Eddie Fricker proud!   At stake is immortality with your name engraved on the Fricker Cup trophy and the ability to touch the trophy with your bare hands while avoiding the Curse of Fricker that will plague any non-winner that touches the trophy!

Started in the summer of 2014, The Fricker Cup Tournament is hosted in different cities to promote greater participation and involvement by all our alumni and promote the philanthropic/Chapter development cause incorporated into each year's tournament. The tournament is scheduled for the first Saturday after Labor Day for all years except when KSTUAA has organized a 5 year reunion event. 

Fricker Cup weekends are planned and organized by the KSTUAA event committee and the Fricker Cup Rules Committee. If you are interested in bringing the Fricker Cup to your area, volunteer to be a local host. Send questions and suggestions to KSTUAA@gmail.com.

2025 Fricker Cup (Columbus) Details:

Saturday, September 6  - Safari Golf Club, Columbus
Our 11th Annual Golf outing for Theta-Upsilon Alumni.  Winning alumni twosome get their name on the magnificent Fricker Cup and the ability to handle the cup with your bare hands and avoid the curse of Fricker!  

Friday Alumni Social Event OPEN TO ALL ALUMNI 
September 5 6pm - 9pm         
North Market at Bridge Park - 6750 Longshore St, Dublin, OH 43017  
No payment needed in advance. Everyone pays for their our own food and drinks. Please let us know you are coming on the registration form.

Fricker Cup (Golf tournament)
September 6 Noon lunch included. Tee times starting at 1:00          
Format: 2-Man Best Ball 
Safari Golf Club  - 4853 Powell Rd, Powell, OH 43065  
Cost: $110 total includes greens fees, cart, Fricker logo valuables pouch, and lunch
Payment: Paypal/credit card link   For Venmo use @KSTUAA (include $25 for Annual Alumni Dues and any additional donation to support our chapter's alumni association (KSTUAA) and their work to support the chapter and our alumni members. 

Lodging Options:            
A block of double queen rooms and king rooms rooms under the name "Fricker Cup 2025" is available until August 8.
