Fricker Cup 2015 - Four Decades of Alumni Participate

The Fricker Cup 2015 Weekend was a great success with perfect weather for golf and great opportunities to socialize all weekend.

The event kicked off Friday night with alumni enjoying the White Sox game followed by a sampling of the nightlife downtown Chicago well into the morning.

The 2015 Fricker Cup was played at Makray Memorial Golf Club on Saturday, September 12 with an awards program and dinner following afterwards! Twenty-two Kappa Sigs from four different decades competed for the championship cup and the honor of touching the trophy with bare hands and avoiding the Fricker Curse! Additional alumni from the area joined the group for dinner at the club house and cards afterwards.

Weather was perfect on Sunday for extra golf rounds for the alumni interested in another round and for the Bears opening day loss.

Next year's Fricker Cup will be held in Northern Ohio, the weekend after Labor Day. Details will be posted here and alumni are encouraged to mark their calendars now to hold this space as the weekend will grow in popularity and scope.
