Kappa Sigma Fraternity seeks to support those that have served through the Military Heroes Campaign
In 2007 the Supreme Executive Committee committed to directing the Fraternity Chapters and their alumni to supporting ongoing care for our military veterans and their families.
Since then the Brothers have raised more than $2 million dollars through the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign to assist our nation’s veterans with financial and organizational support to help them overcome the battles they fight every day. Donations of thousands of donors are gathered and directed to trustworthy organizations serving veterans who need it most. A list of charities can be found here: https://www.kappasigma.org/endowment-fund/military-heroes-campaign/
To encourage and showcase the efforts of chapters and colonies from across North America, Kappa Sigma holds an Annual Military Heroes Month Competition. The competition runs for the month of November and points are awarded to chapters and colonies based on achievements in these three categories:
- Social Media
- Dollars Per Man
- Hours Per Man
